IzzyOnDroid

IzzyOnDroid collects, audits and catalogizes free and open source Android applications and makes them available in an F-Droid compatible repository – but independent of F-Droid, and using its own resources.

In contrast to F-Droid, which builds and signs applications from source, IzzyOnDroid distributes the APKs their respective developers built and signed – after running them through additional scans to ensure they are fine. IzzyOnDroid only builds applications, to see if the result matches the distributed apk exactly (reproducible build) and always re-distributes the original APK (which was built and signed by its respective developer). In case of successful verification, it is marked as being reproducible in its catalogue.
